Meat Orders
Meat can only be ordered by Roxbury Farm CSA members. Grassfed lamb and beef and pastured pork can be ordered by the cut and delivered to your CSA site along with your vegetable share. The cuts are frozen and in plastic vacuum sealed packages. When placing order please order by the package, not by weight. You do not need to pay for your meat order until you receive it. We will send an invoice along w
ith your meat order. Then you can send your payment to the farm.

A 4-5 lb chicken raised on Roxbury Farm's pastures by Mike and Shelly, two of the farm staff members. The chickens are fed organic grain. $5.15/lb
Organ meats are packed with nutrients. Best prepared by braising. Some people use to make their own dog food. 0.75 to 1 lb packages. $1 / lb
4 chops per package. 0.75 - 1 lbs per package. Tenderest cut. Good for braising, pan frying, and grilling. $15.00 / lb
This is a tender, lean meat. 4 chops per package. The package weighs 0.75-1 lb. Good for broiling, grilling, panbroiling, panfrying, roasting, or baking. $15.00 / lb
Shoulder chops are a very flavorful cut that is less expensive than rib or loin chops. 1 or 2 chops per package at 0.5 lbs per package. $10 / lb
2 chops per package. 0.25-0.35 lbs per package. Tenderest cut. Good for braising, pan frying, and grilling. $15.00 / lb
Hot Italian Sausage: 1 lb packages with 3 links. $8.00 / lb
A more affordable cut of lamb. Full of flavor but not as tender as a loin or rib chop. 0.5 to 0.75 lbs per package. 2 steaks. $12 / lb.
1-2 lb roast. Very tender cut. Good for oven roasting. $9.00 / lb
2-3 lb package. This cut can be butterflied for grilling, stuffing, or rolling. Good for oven roasting. $11.00 / lb
Whole leg of lamb with bone. 4-6 lbs. Good for oven roasting. $10.00 / lb
2-3 lbs. Slow braise for rich, intense flavor. $8.00 / lb
A rack of lamb is 5-6 ribs and each package is between 1-1.5 lbs. Frenched ends for a nice presentation. Great for searing followed by oven roasting. $18 / lb
