Distribution Schedule:

Distibution takes place on Tuesday afternoons for 23 week from June 12 to November 13. The optional winter vegetable share delivery dates are December 4, January 8, and February 5.

2012 Share Prices:

$541 for 23 weeks of vegetables

$70 for 20 weeks of fruit (local but not organic) starting July 3

$100 for the winter share (3 deliveries of 30 lbs eac)

$125 for a beef share

$125 for a pork share

$115 for a lamb share

3 types of chicken shares: weekly for $375, bi-weekly for $185, and monthly for $100

Shares prices for the 2012 season:

$572 for 23 weeks of vegetables

$70 for 20 weeks of fruit starting July 5

$100 for a winter vegetable share of three deliveries of 30 lbs each.

Payment:

Payment may be in full or an installment plan.  To pay in installments deposits are due at enrollment and the remainder of the share cost can be paid in 3 installments due April 1, June 1, and August 1.  Deposits are as follows: $50 for the vegetable share, $20 for each fruit share, $20 for each winter share, and $25 for each meat share.

The Central Harlem CSA members pick up at the Thurgood Marshall Academy on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 7 pm.  The school is located at 200 West 135th St.

It has been a strange winter.  No snow and warm temperatures.  We have been busy with caring for the livestock, going to farming conferences, office work, building a real woodshop, and clearing brush and trees from the edges of our fields.  We will begin seeding in the greenhouse on March 1st.
